Pivoting – getting to Plan B

There are little chances that your Plan A will work when you set out to pursue your entrepreneurial dream. The sad statistics of Plan A will vouch for this. All successful entrepreneurs in the world are those who moved from their Plan A to Plan ‘n’ well in time and successfully iterating quickly. Iterating the business model and constantly checking for viability of your model early enough in the business is important to stay on in the field.

Leveraging the successful NEN’s “Getting to Plan B” workshops by Prof. John Mullins of London Business School, this workshop will help you break through to a better business model quickly. Prof. John Mullins has helped more than 20 companies and their leaders- from little-known start-ups to some of the biggest in the world- that have successfully transitioned from Plan A to Plan B.

In this workshop you will:
- Understand how to move to your Plan B successfully
- Learn to adopt easy and practical ways to generate a business model that works
- Interact with real time entrepreneurs to know about their journey from Plan A to Plan B
- Use tools and frameworks like Mullins’ Dash boards and Business Model Grid

Vikas Rajput is a practicing entrepreneur and an entrepreneurship educator. He founded “Parallel Living Research Centre” in 2004 to find alternate avenues to generate income other than a day job. Starting with a business in Content Development he has since then diversified into businesses like Business Research, Website Design, Internet Marketing, Corporate Filmmaking, Photography, Rural Tourism and more.

A trained filmmaker, he has also Directed “Jai Nagarja Sem Mukhem” a Full Length feature film in Garhwali Language.He is a guest faculty for Entrepreneurship at Delhi Business School, Badarpur and Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida besides being a guest speaker at various Management Institutions across Delhi NCR.

He is also an NEN – GS Faculty Scholar.

Vivek Agarwal has done his MBA in 1995 from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, where he majored in Finance and Business Strategy.
